
Erin C. CVT is a technician in our Internal Medicine department. Born and raised in Carbondale, PA. She recently returned to Carbondale after living in Alabama for the past 12 years. Erin attended Penn State University and obtained her Bachelor’s in Animal Science with a minor in Equine Science. She also attended Penn Foster and obtained her Associate’s in Veterinary Technology. For as long as she can remember she thought of going to Vet school then decided to switch to Equine Science and Management. Erin then worked in the Equine industry for 5-6 years, returning to school for her Vet tech afterwards. She brings dynamic skill sets and a passion for veterinary medicine to VREC. Although she’s in Internal Medicine, she also enjoys emergency medicine and wound care. Erin is also a member of NAVTA, and the AVMA. Furthermore, like many of us here at VREC she is also a pet parent 2 horses Cowboy and Laoch, along with 3 dogs: Abel, Rex, and Kodiak, 1 cat Monty, and 1 betta fish named fella. When not at VREC she enjoys spending time with her kids and riding her horses.
