Joella L. is an ER Tech Assistant here at VREC. Born and raised in NEPA. Joella is currently enrolled at Penn State University, her plans include attending graduate school for veterinary medicine. From a young age she knew she wanted to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. Growing up she had very tolerant pets or “mock patients.” Living near VREC growing up she wanted to help make a difference for animals in need. She brings patience, reliability, and attention to detail to our practice. Her special interests include surgery, cardiology, and ICU. Like many others in our practice, she is also a pet parent to Xena, Artie, and Pluto (cats); Vinnie, Harvey, Tessa (dogs), and Ernie (horse). When not at VREC she likes to spend time hiking, riding her horse, taking photographs, or spending time with dogs at the local rescue.
