GENERAL EMPLOYMENT INFORMATION
VREC is a referral hospital with an established staff and referring veterinary relationships, located in S. Abington Twp., an affluent suburb northwest of Scranton, PA. Our new building opened in May, 2010. VREC provides 24/7/365 emergency, critical care, surgery, internal medicine, cardiology, and nuclear medical services, and has a dedicated radiologist available for consultation. We have the only 24/7/365 MRI in the northeast outside of Cleveland and receive many referrals from regional University teaching hospitals. VREC will continue to expand to include dermatology, ophthalmology, and other specialties as soon as possible. The hospital is well equipped with new monitoring equipment, in-house labs, digital radiography ultrasound, endoscopy, ventilator and an MR unit. A CT is available off-site.
