Megan is a Northeast Pennsylvania native born in Scranton. She attended Johnson College and completed her certification in 2012. Megan performed an internship at Washington State University where she worked in surgery and anesthesia on both large and small animals.

Megan became interested in veterinary medicine because of the hands on experience she gets with the animals as well as learning about advanced veterinary medicine. Megan joined the VREC team in August 2013.

Megan has an American Staffordshire terrier named “Unique” a black and white paint horse named “Norman” and two guinea pigs “Abe & Panda”.

When she is not working Megan enjoys horseback riding, horse showing, hiking, the outdoors, and spending time with her family.
