Sue was born and brought up in Vandling before moving to Forest City. She obtained an Associates Degree in Business Administration from Penn State University and has been employed with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania since 1998. When not at VREC as a part-time receptionist, she is working at the Gino J. Merli Veterans Center as a Human Resource Analyst. Sue decided to expand her career as a part-time client service rep and joined VREC – an environment that always interested her – in 2011.

Sue is from a family that holds public service in high regard; her father is a volunteer firefighter, and brother is currently a career firefighter for Frederick County, Maryland. Sue enjoys working at VREC, in a critical care setting that utilizes skills from her primary work and feels that she found her niche in life in the Human Resource field but also found the piece that was missing……newly discovered at VREC.

Sue has one dog – Callie, a White German Shepherd. When she is not working, she enjoys traveling, outdoors, motorcycles and spending time with Callie and her husband, Mark.
