Heiney (pronounced Heeney) had a urinary cystotomy – fancy way to say her urinary bladder had surgery to remove bladder stones. Heiney’s bladder stones had been causing her problems for quite some time but due to some financial constraints, Heiney and her family were struggling with the cost of surgery. Their primary care veterinarian called to nominated Heiney for the Angel Fund and once she was approved Heiney had surgery right away.
Heiney is healed, she’s acting like a silly puppy again and is well on the road to recovery…without all that “gravel” in her bladder.
Way to go Heiney!!!! Thanks to your caring veterinarian and the Angel Fund – everyone at VREC is very happy to have helped!
