Your Pet’s Health is our Priority

Just like human medicine, veterinary medicine is always evolving. Medical equipment becomes more sophisticated every day, expanding advanced treatment options available. Primary care veterinarians are integral to your pet’s health, but may not have diagnostic tools or the special equipment available to form a diagnosis. That’s why pets facing complicated health problems may be referred to VREC by vets for diagnoses or treatments not offered elsewhere.
As fellow pet owners we understand the importance of being well-informed about your pet’s health. At VREC, we see both patients referred by vets as well as concerned pet parents looking for a second opinion. Regardless of why you schedule a visit, our referral departments have dedicated consultation appointments to discuss available treatment options. Our goal is to provide a path with steps allowing your pet to achieve maximum quality of life.
If a pet needs diagnostic services, our staff has access to highly specialized technology which can make all the difference with a diagnosis. VREC also has a dedicated MRI suite, available 24 hours a day, if your pet needs imaging services. To ensure a pet’s medical history is complete, all our findings are sent to primary care veterinarians for their records.
