    Duke G.

    June 9, 2017 By vrec

Duke was seen at VREC after being bitten several times on the ear and shoulder by a fellow pet housemate. His wounds were in need of laceration repair which required anesthesia and sutures, something out of his family’s financial budget.

Once qualified for the Angel Fund, Duke had surgery to repair the lacerations. He stayed hospitalized overnight to ensure he was healing properly. The following morning, he was discharged to recover at home with his family. After two weeks of healing time, his sutures were removed and he was given the OK to resume all normal activity.
