This is Jax
Approximately two years ago during a spay/neuter release program, he was left behind, and was found wrapped up in a car tarp. He was so tiny! Some wonderful people (his current owners) brought him home and gave him lots of tender loving care. Jax was welcomed into his new home by the owner’s cat and two dogs.
One night, Jax wasn’t feeling well so he was rushed to VREC.
Jax had an obstruction in his urethra which was preventing him from being able to urinate and expel toxins normally cleared by the kidneys. Thanks to Dr. Gross, who nominated Jax for the Angel Fund and the treatments she performed, Jax is back home.
In the owner’s words “I am so thankful for an amazing program, and thank those who donate! If not for the Angel Fund, I’m afraid we may not have been able to keep our little buddy! Thank you very much Dr Gross! Thanks to the entire staff that helped care for Jax during his stay there. And thank you to the Angel Fund organization! We are so happy to have Jax healthy and happy!!! Turned out he was blocked and unable to urinate. Jax needed a procedure to save his life”
