Brent is our Human Resources Generalist. Although childhood helped Brent develop an appreciation for the human-animal bond, his career aspirations led him to human medicine. He became a certified EMT, and later a Nationally Registered Paramedic with medical flight experience. In addition, he also obtained a Bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York Albany. After 36 years in the field Brent was ready to pursue a new position, this time with animals. After an “absolutely awesome” experience as a client with his dog, Brent felt compelled to apply to VREC. He joined the team in 2022.
Outside of work, Brent, his partner, and two children are proud pet owners to three pitbull/bulldog mixes and two Cairn terriers. They enjoy quality time together and taking walks in the woods with the pups.
