November 12, 2018 – Megan L., CVT, Lead Surgery Technician, recently earned the title of Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner (CCRP). Canine Rehabilitation Practitioners restore and maintain dog’s physical functions and movement and assist them to achieve health and well-being. Megan will be working with our surgery patients while recovering from orthopedic and neurological surgeries.
To obtain a CCRP certification, Megan spent a year and a half taking online classes, participated in a hands-on lab, performed a 40-hour externship in Louisiana, submitted case studies performed at VREC, and then passed both practical and written exams. We are thrilled to have Megan’s special skillset available to our patients.
