Elizabeth is an Assistant in our Surgery department. She holds a Certified Veterinary Assistant degree from Animal Behavior College in 2020 and is currently enrolled in Penn Foster’s Veterinary Technician program.
An animal lover from a young age, Liz holds deep appreciation for compassionate animal care. Her first experience with VREC was during an externship at VREC in 2020. Fascinated with the fast-paced environment and hands-on experiences, she applied for a permanent position after the externship. Originally hired as an Assistant in the Emergency department, Liz transitioned to the surgery team in 2021.
When not assisting patients, Elizabeth spends time with horses Jett Black and Outlaw; goats Bucky and Pringle; dogs Cai and Max; and a rooster and hens. Whenever possible, she enjoys horseback riding, hiking, tennis, swimming, and reading.
