Darla K. is a Technician in our Emergency department. Born in Denver, Colorado, Darla grew up in Pennsylvania and attended Harcum College in Mryn Mawr, PA. She joined the VREC family in 2013 and finds great satisfaction in the fast-paced nature of the Emergency department. As an Emergency technician, Darla maintains high levels of patient care and provides excellent client communication. She says our family-like staff is one of her favorite things about working at VREC.
When Darla is not assisting pets at VREC, she enjoys hiking, photography, and spending as much time with her children as possible. She shares her home with Boxer mix Desh, one-eyed cat Maverick, three-legged cats MaKarov and Mosin, and additional cats McMillan and Mossberg.
