Megan, a Northeast Pennsylvania native, attended Johnson College and completed her veterinary technician certification in 2012. She then went on to perform an internship at Washington State University, where she worked in surgery and anesthesia on both large and small animals. Megan became interested in veterinary medicine due to the hands-on experience it offers with the animals. She also enjoys learning about advanced veterinary medicine. In August 2013, Megan joined the VREC team.
Megan has an American Stafford shire Terrier named Unique, a Pit Bull mix named Juliette, a black and white Paint Horse named Norman, and a Guinea pig named Panda. When Megan is not working she enjoys horseback riding and showing horses. She also enjoys hiking, being outdoors, and spending time with her family.
