Megan C., CVT is the Lead Surgery Technician. A Northeastern PA native, Megan graduated from Johnson College in Scranton, PA, with an Associate’s Degree in Science – Veterinary Technology. After graduation she accepted an internship at Washington State University and worked in anesthesia and surgery on both large and small animals.
Megan joined the VREC team in 2013 because she enjoyed the fast-paced nature and the continued growth of the field. She finds that the staff is a second family; the team collaboration is a comfort in an advanced medicine setting.
When not assisting animals at VREC, Megan spends time with her own animals: dogs Bella and Juliette; guinea pig Panda; horses Norman and Skittles; turkeys Jerry and Amanda; and 13 chickens. She loves the outdoors and spends her free time horseback riding, hiking, and working on her hobby farm.
