Candice Sefchik, VMD earned her Bachelors of Science degree at Marywood University in Scranton, PA. She was accepted into the Veterinary Medicine program at the University of Pennsylvania and graduated with a Veterinariae Medicinae Doctoris in 2018. Sefchik completed several veterinary externships while in school, including one at VREC in 2017. Her positive experiences brought her back upon graduation. She officially joined our VREC family as an Emergency Clinician in 2018 and enjoys practicing emergency medicine with dedicated staff in a family-like atmosphere.
A Northeastern PA native, Sefchik enjoys hiking around the region, attending concerts, and trying new vegan recipes. She shares her home with two cats, two Belgian Malinois, and an American Bulldog mix.
