Olivia Yaple, DVM earned her undergraduate degree from York College of Pennsylvania in 2013. She then attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, Saint Kitts and Nevis – West Indies. She graduated with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2017 and completed her clinical rotation at the University of Illinois with special concentrations in oncology and internal medicine.
Yaple joined the VREC family as an Emergency Clinician in 2017 because she enjoys the adventure of navigating the unpredictable world of emergency medicine. She finds the most satisfaction in caring for the sickest patients and knew working at VREC meant she’d be part of a team performing advanced medicine daily.
Her personal interests include hiking, reading, and enjoying the great outdoors. She has traveled extensively and has spent time working with wildlife in South Africa. When not assisting pets at the facility, she spends quality time with cat Oreo (“the best cat in the world”).
