Nichole B., CVT is a Technician in our Surgery department. A Northeastern PA native, she attended Johnson College in Scranton, PA where she obtained her Associate’s Degree in Applied Science – Veterinary Technology in 2011. Being drawn to the facility for its faced-paced environment and ability to expand her skillset, she joined the VREC family shortly after graduation.
As a Surgery Technician, Nichole assists the surgeon during procedures, monitors anesthesia levels, and provides patient care after surgery. She also is specially trained to inspect radiology equipment to ensure it is working properly. Her two most favorite things about VREC are the camaraderie of the surgery staff and the joy of seeing healed surgery patients at follow-up appointments.
Nichole spends free time with family and friends, golfing, and hiking. She is a proud “fur-mom” to chocolate Labradors Snickers and Charlie, Pug George, and littermate cats Bailey and Nala.
